Should You Wear Work/gardening Gloves For Batting?

When i use batting gloves after like 2 weeks the batting glove has a large hole in the palm of the hand. Is their any suggestion for any type of reliable and durable batting glove or is there any specific work glove or gardening glove that i should use.

Borrowed the info from a professional hitting instructor’s blog for those that take improving their hitting seriously so I only took what I thought would answer your question:
Batting glove thickness affects the neuromuscular response in the palms on contact. There is a cause and effect correlation with glove thickness and palm/hand strength. With thinner gloves, you can expect more strength. The strength gain is beneficial in blocking at contact. So you can see how blocking and resistance can boost power, and they literally go hand in hand. I recommend ditching the gloves totally to get the best response.
you might be able to wear them once but dont make a habit of it i would definitelty suggest that you but some underarmour batting gloves go to baseballexpress.com and cruise around and look at the under armour ones i have had a pair for about 2 to 3 years and i play almost all ear on a travel team
No. Baseball gloves are meant to be tight on your hand and give you good grip.
Just burn 20 bucks or so and buy a decent pair of gloves that actually are for baseball.
if your gloves rippes that esily they were really crappy. DO NOT use gardening gloves you’ll regret it they dont work they slip. go to sports athority and get some nice gloves

I would wear khakis and some cute flats with a cute polo shirt, long sleeved or short sleeved whatever the weather is like by you. I say khakis because you will look more presentable than someone with jeans but you dont wan't to look like your going to a wedding lol

Katy- actually, yes, that is part of it. I got married while in art school, and didn’t wear my ring because I was sure I’d lose it. Geoff doesn’t wear his work because it would get in the way. So we’ve just gotten used to not wearing them. In fact, they’re packed, and I’m not sure where. I like necklaces and the like, but am always running late in the morning, so never have time to accessorize.

If you are going to have people showing up at different times, maybe you should consider just a generic hunt instead of a treasure hunt? Hide a bunch of little themed toys… like little dinosaurs or even cards with pictures. Tell them they can redeem 3 for a prize and send them off as they come in.
If you would like to go with the treasure hunt, maybe divide it between the little ones that can't read and the older ones that can. For the younger ones give them a "map" with a picture story and a picture of the location of the first clue. At that clue have another part of the story and a picture of the 2nd place they need to go… etc… We did this with the 4-6 crowd and it was a hit… no "reading" required and they are doing it themselves. At the end they would tell us the 'story'- either as individuals or group (go with the flow for this group) and it would connect to the theme and what comes next.
For the older ones regular written clues should work fine.
I don't know that you really need to do the sticker at each clue so much as at the end. You'll know at the end when they "tell" you the story… but it's all about fun, so as long as they are trying I wouldn't really worry if they miss one or just send them back to try again. If you do it this way, you will have to have some sort of props around the parking lot to send them around. I would also have the volunteers just float- some kids they may need to walk around with but most they can just sort of watch out for as they reach the stations.

Yeah, weight training will be a good thing for you. They're fun, you should maybe talk to a fitness trainer first so they can tell you all you need to learn so you don't hurt yourself or anything. But I personally would suggest you start out with dumbells or the bar. But yeah, consult someone first so you are familiar with the equipment.
