Horror movie where a slug crawls into a man’s gardening glove and he puts it on without knowing?

SO i saw this horror movie a long time ago, probably early 90's. All I can remember from it was that it was inside some greenhouse and this slug creature thing crawling into a mans gardening glove. Upon placing on the glove the man goes into a fit and grabs his hatchet and proceeds to chop at his hand. I have asked many people throughout life and no one seems to know.
