Can anyone help about some gloves?

I wear gloves at work, a shipping company, so I handle boxes all night. I use those rubber palm/ knit gardening/work gloves. The finger tips usually wear away in about a week. Anyone know of either better gloves for doing that job, or a way to repair them? Getting tired of spending $4 a week on gloves. I keep trying more permanent type gloves, but the dust from the boxes makes them slick, and I need some grip from them. Thanks
